Today's Photo-Taking Experience | physicalwreck's Blog

Today I went to cemeteries and antique shops. They were places I have never shot pictures of. First I went to the Ridgefield Cemetery in Crystal Lake. It was right across from the Crystal Lake Memorial Cemetery where my goal was to go initially. I felt a bit uncomfortable because of the nature of my subject. I felt disrespectful. The Ridgfield was quite small but got a few good photos. I even saw a chipmunk. It went into a hole shortly after I took a pic. Then I went to the Crystal Lake Memorial Cemetery. I left that locale appreciating even more that I have a healthy and happy child still with me. I captured a grave that apparently had been a little girl. There was no evidence of a grave except for a collection of items. There was a small statue of an angel girl and three balloons:a Disney Princesses,a Hannah Montana and a pink princess tiara one. They were birthday balloons. My heart sunk. I moved on to the antique shops but that grave is still haunting me,even as I type this.
